Calories in Vodka & Diet Coke
The calories in a vodka and Diet Coke mixed drink will depend on the brand and type of vodka. Diet Coke does not add any calories to the drink, making it a popular mixer.

Vodka is available in several alcohol content variations. Many vodka products are 80 or 100 proof, meaning they have 40 or 50 percent alcohol content. The US Department of Agriculture lists generic, 80-proof vodka as containing 64 calories per ounce. An ounce of 100-proof generic vodka contains 82 calories.
Considerations
The calories in one shot of vodka will vary between different brands and types. Some vodka products on the market are 190-proof which is the maximum alcohol content possible. An ounce of 190-proof vodka has about 190 calories. This is almost double the calories than an ounce of standard vodka.
Size
One shot of vodka is equal to 1 ounce. A vodka and Diet Coke made with a 1 ounce of shot contains 60 to 80 calories, on average. The calories come only from the vodka, as Diet Coke does not have any caloric value. Some bartenders make this drink using one jigger of vodka, which is 1.5 ounces. This will increase the calories significantly. A vodka and Diet Coke made with a jigger contains 90 to 120 calories.
